License Terms

1. Agreement

By installing, activating, accessing, or using Data Source Explorer, you agree to these Software License Terms. If you do not agree, do not request or use an activation key.

2. License grant

Subject to these terms and any applicable purchase terms, ARCO INTERNATIONAL grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Data Source Explorer for your own internal lawful purposes on the number of installations permitted by the activation key.

• A temporary key may be used only during its stated evaluation period.
• A permanent key has no scheduled expiration date in the signed activation token unless otherwise stated at purchase.
• Activation keys may be bound to a specific machine code and may not function on a different machine.

3. Restrictions

You may not sell, sublicense, publish, share, or distribute activation keys; bypass or defeat activation controls; use the software in violation of law; or reproduce and redistribute the software except as expressly authorized by ARCO INTERNATIONAL. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software except to the extent a restriction on those activities is prohibited by applicable law.

4. Ownership

Data Source Explorer is licensed, not sold. ARCO INTERNATIONAL and its licensors retain all ownership rights in the software, branding, documentation, and related intellectual property. Your activation key grants usage rights only; it does not transfer ownership.

5. Third-party services and connectors

Data Source Explorer may connect to third-party databases, services, APIs, drivers, or platforms. Those services are governed by their own terms, availability, security requirements, and fees. ARCO INTERNATIONAL does not control third-party services and cannot guarantee their continuing availability or compatibility.

6. Updates, compatibility, and support

Unless a separate written support or maintenance agreement says otherwise, a permanent activation key does not guarantee future upgrades, new features, technical support for an unlimited period, or compatibility with every future operating system, database, API, or third-party product.

7. Security and acceptable use

You are responsible for protecting your activation key, credentials, data sources, connection strings, and systems. Do not use Data Source Explorer to access systems or data without authorization, or in a manner that infringes another person's rights.

8. Warranty disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Data Source Explorer is provided on an "as available" basis without warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every environment. Any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ARCO INTERNATIONAL will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity arising from use of Data Source Explorer. Any limitation that is not permitted by applicable law will apply only to the extent legally allowed.

10. Termination

Your license rights may end if you materially breach these terms. On termination, you must stop using the software and any affected activation key. Rights and obligations that by their nature should continue after termination will survive.

11. Changes to these terms

Updated terms may apply to future purchases, new versions, or future services. The version presented and accepted when a key is requested or a purchase is initiated governs that transaction unless applicable law requires otherwise.
