Privacy Notice
This notice explains the information processed when you request a trial, purchase a permanent activation, retrieve an issued key, or use this activation portal.
1. Information we process
The portal may process the following information:
- Name or company name and email address you submit.
- The machine code supplied by Data Source Explorer so an activation key can be bound to the requested installation.
- License identifiers, activation type, issue and expiration dates, and encrypted copies of issued activation tokens used for retrieval and administration.
- Order references, Stripe Checkout session identifiers, payment status, amount, and currency for permanent-license transactions.
- Network and security information, including IP-address-derived rate-limit data and hashed IP information used to reduce abuse and investigate licensing activity.
- Session and security tokens necessary to operate the portal securely.
2. Payment information
Permanent-license payments are completed through Stripe Checkout. Payment card details are entered into Stripe's checkout service rather than stored by this activation portal. The portal receives transaction information needed to confirm payment and issue the activation key.
3. Why the information is used
- To issue, verify, retrieve, and administer temporary and permanent activation keys.
- To enforce trial limits and machine binding.
- To create and fulfill permanent-license orders after payment verification.
- To deliver activation keys and related transactional messages to the email address you provide.
- To provide customer support and respond to licensing questions.
- To secure the portal, detect abuse, troubleshoot failures, and maintain transaction records.
4. Service providers
The portal may rely on hosting, database, payment, email, security, or infrastructure providers that process information on behalf of ARCO INTERNATIONAL. Stripe processes payments, the hosting provider operates the web infrastructure and database environment, and the configured email provider transmits transactional activation-key messages.
5. Retention
Licensing, transaction, and security records may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the licensing service, support customers, prevent duplicate trials or fraud, maintain accounting records, resolve disputes, and satisfy applicable legal obligations. Retention periods may differ by record type.
6. Security
The portal uses HTTPS, server-side access controls, request validation, rate limiting, and encryption for stored activation tokens. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so customers should also protect their email account, machine, and activation key.
7. Cookies and sessions
The portal uses a session cookie needed for functions such as request protection and portal navigation. It is used for operation and security rather than advertising.
8. Your choices and requests
You may contact ARCO INTERNATIONAL to ask questions about personal information associated with the activation portal or to make a privacy request. Some records may need to be retained where reasonably necessary for security, licensing, accounting, dispute resolution, or legal obligations.
9. Contact
Privacy questions may be sent to contact@arcointernational.net.
